We're looking for a HVAC Service Technician to join our team. Technician must have prior installation experience with a minimum of 3 years verifiable experience as a service technician. The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on all of our heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The successful candidate will possess the interest and knowledge to put together diagnosis and repairs that meet all requirements and specifications. The right candidate will also have an extensive background in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, with experience in gas furnaces, air conditioners, mini-splits and ventilation ductwork.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred
- Prior Installation Experience required
- 3+ years of service technician experience required
- EPA Certification required
- Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver's License required
- Able to pass a background check to include criminal history & driving record
- Pass drug test
SKILLS- Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills
- Have basic computer skills and the ability to navigate digital tools (dispatching software, iPad, phone)
- Solder/Brazing skills
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Physically agile, dexterous and able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Willing to work overtime
- Willing to work some weekends on a rotating basis as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide maintenance, troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC) such as furnaces and cooling systems
- Fixing, replacing and adjusting vents and ductwork
- Explain each service and repair performed to dispatch/customer
- Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion
- Order & pickup replacements for equipment parts as required
- Transport parts, materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned items
- Provide written and verbal diagnosis and suggested repairs using dispatch and invoicing software
- Sell and setup preventative maintenance agreement plans to interested customers
- Elicit customer feedback through reviews such as on Google, dispatching software, and social media
- Grow professionally in skills and knowledge through continuing education, training, and professional development
- Keep service vehicle stocked with necessary tools, parts, and equipment needed for jobs
- Track service vehicle mileage and alert manager when vehicle maintenance is due
- Maintains company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Health and Safety Act
- Adheres to all company policies, both verbal and written, and as outlined in the company's handbook
